DTC Graduate Certification Pledge

I hereby pledge that as a professional dog trainer and a graduate of the Victoria Stilwell Academy’s Dog Trainer Course:

1. I will continue to use, endorse, promote and encourage only force-free positive training tools, methods and techniques which avoid the use of pain, intimidation or fear in dogs. For the purposes of this pledge, the term ‘Positive Training’ is defined here: https://positively.com/dog-training/article/philosophy-positive-training.
2. If requested, I will participate in a live video conference call with Victoria and/or other VSA team members.
3. I will continue to invest time and resources into continuing education in the field of animal behaviour and the dog training profession, and I will provide proof of such efforts as requested by VSA in the future.
4. If requested, I will provide client references to VSA in the future for review. I agree that any provided client reference information will be accurate to the best of my knowledge and will consist of professional dog training clients from the 12 months preceding their submission to VSA. I further understand that VSA may contact these references at its sole discretion.
